Hi, my name's Ica. I'm 20 years young and I live in this so-called wonderful world.

Almost Ending

A couple of weeks from now, I’ll be marching down that isle, wearing a toga. Yes, I’m graduating college this March and the feeling is weird. I’m happy that after four years of working hard, I’ll be recognized for everything I’ve done. But at the same time, I’m sad that the world I know and built my life on, my academic life, is about to end. Cliche as it sounds, yesterday seemed like the start of everything. Now it’s almost ending.

And I’m about to start a new chapter in my life. It’s scary alright, but I know I’ll make it. I know I can. HA.

Graduation Picture Taking Day :)

Had our graduation picture taken last November 16, 2011 at Red Images. I really liked my make-up but I’m not sure if I liked the turn out of my grad pic. Tho it was the raw pictures I saw, the shots and angles were simply… err. Can’t even describe. The person who was directing the shoot didn’t give me the chance to pose at my right angle. So I had double chin at some of the photos and an awkward smile on others.

Val, Me and Van for our fashion shoot.

And because I wasn’t happy with my pictures and I really liked my make-up, I took my own at home. Hahaha!

Look how annoyed Pampy is here. HAHAHA! :))))

My 20th Birthday Shiz :)

Awesome celebration with awesome people. Haha! My blockmates and I just came from a stressful week during this time because we had our IMC competition (and oh yeah, we won! hihi). This party was what we needed to end the semester with bang! Though I lost my phone that night, still wouldn’t change a thing because I had fun with my lovies. Plus Mr. Commerce was there, extra kilig factor. HAHA! :))

I don’t remember though why everyone here was laughing :))

CA1 Loves :)

Rohj and Alexis! :)

HAAAAAA! :))

HEEEEE :)

It’s been so long since I last updated my account. Ha. Been busy because of school work and for a graduating student like me, I need to take every school work seriously ‘cause if not… hmmm. And it’s freakin’ 2012, time to change the old ways. Hehehe. But since my rant last October 2011, here’s been what’s happening:

  • Met a guy, but won’t go into further details with this. HA.
  • Worked for the Steve Jobs event and Bench PFW Spring 2011.
  • Last semester (fingers crossed) started.
  • EP of a show on ustigeradio.com – SIZING UP THE MEDIUM!
  • Had our retreat.
  • FINALLY started on our thesis again. MEH.
  • Re-connected with an old friend. YEH.
  • Had a so-called “Christmas Break”. And I say this so because I spent the “break” working on thesis, the documentary for film, website for Desktop Publishing and the presentation for DevComm. Some kind of break right? NAAAT.
  • Celebrated New Year sick, HFMD because of ze sister :\
  • And now currently thinking of I should continue to write this blog. HEHE. (Because my hosts yesterday for Sizing Up, Kenn and Christian, got me thinking about my blog. That’s why I am updating it now. HA.)

A lot actually happened but of course I can’t tell all. Will post photos in a while J

Y YOU SO ANNOYING? :|

Like really, you annoy me to the nth power! Actually annoying’s not the correct term, it’s EPAL. Ikaw yun, ISANG MALAKING EPAL. Kbyeeeeee. :|

And we meet again… :)

It’s the second time I saw you since you graduated. This must be… fate? CHAROT! Lol. And I must say you haven’t changed at all. Well except for the fact that you look really good now. LOLOLOLOL. But really, you’re still the “kalog” guy we met last year and still very insistent of the CD I “owe” you. Emzo happy you still know me. Looking forward to see you again so please, don’t go to HK anymore. =))))))

Divorce Bill in the Philippines

Before, I was actually in favor for this bill to be passed. Not everyone in the Philippines can afford annulment. And I think annulment is as good as divorce, the only difference is divorce is much cheaper. And of course for the reason that many women and men suffering emotionally and physically by staying in the marriage. But as I am watching the debate about it in ABS-CBN’s special news report Harapan right now, it got me thinking. If this bill gets passed, indeed the point of marriage will be non-sense. Many couple will enter marriage without thinking it through, stay in the marriage for a while, and when it doesn’t work anymore, will get a divorce and re-marry again and get a divorce and marry again. The family institution of our country will be damaged. And the possibility of divorcees outnumbering married couples, ehhhhh. Definitely doesn’t sound cool. LOL.

Now I don’t know. I want it passed, yet I think it would affect the family system of the country gravely. Hmmm…
